Last updated: 5 November 2026

This notice explains what Newark Valeting Centre does with the details you give us when you book online, message us or call us. We only use them to look after your booking and your car.

Who we are

Newark Valeting Centre, 287 Bowbridge Road, Newark NG24 4EQ. We are responsible for your details. Contact us about anything on this page by phone on 07869 808400 or by email at valetingcentrenewark@gmail.com.

What we collect

Why we use it

To confirm or decline your booking, contact you about it (for example if we need to change the day), and do the work on your car. The legal reason is that you have asked us to book a service for you. We don't use your details for marketing, and we don't sell or share them with anyone for their own use.

We use CCTV to keep our premises, staff and customers' cars safe, and to help look into any damage, accident or crime. The legal reason is our legitimate interest in security. We only share footage with the police or our insurer if it's needed for an incident.

Services that handle your details for us

Some of these companies may handle data outside the UK. They use legal safeguards approved for UK data protection.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details for as long as we need them to look after your booking and keep normal business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner (see below).

CCTV footage is kept for up to two weeks and then recorded over automatically, unless we need to keep a clip because of an incident.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you pick a car size on the home page, your browser remembers it so the prices stay on that size next time. You can clear this in your browser settings at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you (including CCTV footage of you), ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Just call, message or email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
